END THE RAID
(sung to the tune 'Turn the Page' by Bob Seger)

In a cold and lonesome dungeon
west of Kael Drakkel.
You can listen to the whiners
cryin' out their one note song.
You can think about the phat lewt
or the corpse run from the night before.
But your thoughts will soon be wandering
the way they always do
when you're buffin for too long.
And you start to feel like logging
you just wish the raid was through.

Here we are
On a raid again
There we are
Down in the camp
Here we go
Pullin yet again
There we go
End the raid

Well you walk into a dungeon,
strung out from the zone.
And the darkies are upon you
before you even have control.
You pretend it doesn't bother you
but you just want to explode.
And you hear them talkin' smack
'bout how they kicked yer can.
All the same old cliches,
"Is that a griefer or a fef?"
And you always seem outnumbered,
but gotta make a stand.

Here we are
On a raid again
There we are
Down in the camp
Here we go
Pullin yet again
There we go
End the raid

Out there in the spotlight
are the main tank and chain.
Every ounce of mana
the clerics cast away.
As the blood pours out your body
like the mob that you must slay.
Later in the evening
as we rez up all the dead
With the echos from the battle
ringin' in your head.
You listen to the list of drops
just glad that your not dead

Here we are
On a raid again
There we are
Down in the camp
Here we go
Pullin yet again
There we go
End the raid
